Day 01. Arrive at Paro: Paro airport. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
Day 02. Paro Sightseeing: Drukgyel dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Rimpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) and the Ta dzong, an ancient watchtower .Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Day03. Paro – Shana (Start of Trek): Shana starts at Drukgyal Dzong. Overnight at camp Shana.
Altitude 2,850 m; Distance 17 Km; Time 4 – 6 hours, Ascent 360m, Descent: 80m.

Day 04. Shana – Thangthangka: Altitude: 3610 m; Distance 22 Km; Time 7 – 8 hours. Ascent:770m, Descent 10m.
Day 05. Thangthangka – Jangothang: Jhomolhari base camp (4,115 m).
Altitude 4,080 m; Distance 19 Km; Time 5 – 6 hours, Ascent: 480m.
Day 06. Jangothang (Acclimatization): Rest day at Jangothang, enjoy the superb view all around.

Day 07. Jangothang – Lingshi: Camp altitude is 4000 meters. Distance 18kms, Walking time 6-7 hours. Ascent 840 m, Descent: 870m.
Day 08. Lingshi – Chebisa: Lingshi dzong. Camp altitude of 3,880 meters.
Distance:10 Km; Time 5 – 6 hours, Ascent 280 meters, Descent 410 meters.
Day 09. Chebisa – Shomuthang: Gubula pass at an altitude of 4,500 meters. Arrive at camp beside a stram at the bottom of the valley at an altitude of 4220 metres.
(Distance 17km, Time 5- 7 hours, Ascent: 890m Descent: 540 m)
Day 10. Shomuthang – Robluthang: Jari la pass at the altitude of 4,600 meters. Camp at an altitude of 4160 meters.
(Distance 18kms, time 6-7 hours, Ascent: 700m, Descent: 760m)
Day 11. Robluthang – Lemithang:Shinje la pass (altitude 4900meters), Mount Gangchey Ta peak. Arrive at camp at an altitude 4140 meters.
(Distance 19 kms, Time 6 -7 hours, Ascent: 850m, Descent 870m)
Day 12. Lemithang – Laya: (Yak Contractor: Leley): Gangchey Ta peak, Laya village, the second highest settlement in the country, at an altitude of 3,840 meter.
(Distance 4-5 hours, Ascent 60 m, Descent: 440m.)
Day 13. Rest day at Laya: Explore around the village.
Day 14: Laya – Rhodophu: Altitude: 4500m.
(Distance 19kms, time 6- 7 hours, Ascent: 1030m, Descent 770m).
Day 15. Rhodophu – Tarina: Tsimola (4700m), Lunana, Mt. Jumolhari and Mt. Jichu Drake. Gangla Karchula pass (5,080m). The whole range of mountains, including Masagang, Tsendegang, Terigang. Altitude: 3,980m.
Distance 35 kms, Time 10 -12 hours, Ascents 990m, Descent: 1200m)
Day 16. Tarina – Woche: Lunana region.
(Distance 17km, Time 6-7 hours, Ascent 275m, Descent 330m.)
Day 17. Woche – Lhedi:
(Distance 17kms Time 6-7 hours, Ascents 980 m , Descents 950 m. )
Day 18. Lhedi – Thanza: Choejong dzong, Thanza camp.
(Distance 17kms, Time 7-8 hours, Ascents: 400m.)
Day 19. Thanza: Rest day at Thanza.
Day 20: Rest Day in Thanza: 4080M (13,300 FT)
Day 21: Thanza to Danji
Distance: 8km – 4 hours. The camp is around 4600m/15,000ft, with spectacular views of snow-capped peaks! It is an important acclimatization spot.
DAY 22: Danji to Tso Chena
Distance: 12km – 5 hours. Jaze La pass at 5050m (16,570ft), Tso Chena at 4800m (15,740 ft)
Day 23: Tso Chena to Jichu Dramo
Distance: 14km – 4 to 5 hours. Loju La pass at 4940m (16,300 ft), Jichu Dramo at 4880m (16,000 ft).
Day 24: Jichu Dramo to Chukharpo
Distance: 18km – 5 to 6 hours. Rinchen Zoe La pass at 5290m (17,350 ft), the highest on the trek. Altitude : at 4950m (16335 ft)
Day 25: Chukharpo to Thampe Tso
Distance: 18km – 5 to 6 hours. Um So lake at 4230m (13,950 ft), Thampe Tso at 4200m (13,860 ft)
Day 26: Thampe Tso to Maurothang
Distance: 14km – 5 hours. Thampe La and a steep climb to the pass at 4580m (15,100 ft). Camp at 3550m (11,640 ft).
Day 27: Maurothang to Nikachu Chazam/Drive to Punakha
Distance: 23km – 7 to 8 hours.
Drive from Trongsa to Punakha. (Approximately 3 hours)
Day 28: Drive Punakha to Thimphu
Day 29: Drive Thimphu to Paro Overnight in a comfortable hotel
Day 30: Departure from Paro Airport
Waking up in Paro, we’ll have time for one last walk through town before saying our goodbyes and heading to the airport for the Druk Air flight to Bangkok.
