
It is a 6-days trek near Thimphu, to a large number of lovely high altitude lakes. The Trek is easy and most trekking days are short but there are some long steep climbs. It starts from Khoma (near Thimphu) and ends in Simtokha, Thimphu. The highest point is 4300 Meters.

Day 01. Arrive at Paro: Upon arrival at Paro airport, received by representative of Yak Adventures Travel and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02. Paro sightseeing: Excursion to Taktsang Monastery (The Tiger’s Nest)
Day 03. Khoma – Geynikha: (14 Km, 4hrs, altitude 2800 meters)
Day 04. Geynikha – Gur: (5Km, 4hrs., altitude 3350 meters)
Day 05. Gur – Labatamba: (12 Km, 5hrs, Altitude 4240 meters, Camp near the lake)
Day 06. Labatamba – Panka: (8 Km, 4 hrs, Altitude 4000 meters)
Day 07. Panka – Talakha: (8 km, 4 hrs, Talakha (3083 meters))
Day 08. Talakha – Simtokha – Thimphu: (3 Km, 3 Hrs), Walk downhill on a steep trail to Simtokha from where the Vehicle will pick you up and drive to Thimphu.
Day 09. Thimphu Sightseeing:
Day 10. Thimphu – Punakha – Wangdi: (72 Kms, 3 hours drive), Dochula pass , Pho Chu (Male river) and Mo Chu (Female river) , Dzong Chu (Small Dzong), Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Over night in Hotel.
Day 11. Wangdi Phodrang – Thimphu: After breakfast, drive to Thimphu. Lunch in Thimphu. After lunch, free for shopping and photography in the town. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 12. Departure: Early morning, drive to the airport and farewell.
